Shodashi 3x3 Yantra (षोडशी 3x3 यंत्र) is a sacred 3x3 inch copper Yantra of Devi Shodashi, the third of the ten Mahavidyas, worshipped as the sixteen-petalled Tripura Sundari who governs beauty, sovereignty, refined intelligence and the magnetic power of attraction. The 3x3 inch copper plate is engraved with the Sri Vidya geometry of nine interlocking triangles around a central bindu, and it is installed to hold the Devi's presence in a home, a shop or a sadhana room. How to install and use

Bathe the Yantra in clean water, then in raw milk, and wipe it dry with a fresh cotton cloth on the morning of installation.

Spread a red cloth in the north-east of your puja space and place the Yantra so that it faces east.

Light a ghee lamp and a sandalwood incense stick, then apply a kumkum tilak on the four corners and on the central bindu.

Offer red hibiscus flowers, a pinch of kumkum, and a small portion of kheer or sugar.

Chant Om Aim Hreem Shreem Shodashyai Namah 108 times with a lotus-seed or rudraksha mala, and repeat this for eleven consecutive days.

After that, light a lamp before it every Friday and wipe it with a dry cloth only. Never use soap, acid or metal polish on the engraving.
