पारद स्वस्तिक 3x3 यंत्र
Parad Swastik 3x3 Yantra (पारद स्वस्तिक 3x3 यंत्र) is a sacred 3x3 inch Parad Yantra cast in the form of the Swastik, the oldest auspicious mark in the Vedic tradition and the sign drawn at the threshold before every puja, wedding and griha pravesh. Parad, solidified mercury prepared through the samskaras of Rasa Shastra, is treated in the Rasarnava as the most sacred of metals for household worship. According to the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra and Vastu tradition, the Swastik installed at the entrance is held to invite auspiciousness into the house, guard the threshold from nazar and negative energy, correct Vastu defects at the main door and in the north-east, steady the atmosphere of a quarrelsome home, support new beginnings, and keep the family's fortune from turning. It is particularly beneficial for families performing griha pravesh, households with an entrance in a defective direction, shop and office owners fixing an auspicious mark at the door, newly married couples setting up a home, people who cannot make structural Vastu corrections, and anyone starting construction or renovation. Fix or place the Swastik on the north-east wall or above the main entrance on a clean red cloth on a Thursday or during Diwali. Energise it by offering kumkum, akshat, red flowers and a ghee lamp, and chanting the mantra 108 times. Mantra: Om Swasti Na Indro Vriddhashravah, Swasti Nah Pusha Vishvavedah, Swasti Nastarkshyo Arishtanemih, Swasti No Brihaspatirdadhatu.

Wipe the Parad Swastik with a soft dry cloth and rinse it briefly with clean water only, then dry it at once, since Parad should not be left wet.
Choose the north-east wall of the home temple or the inner wall above the main entrance and lay a small red cloth on the shelf, or hang it from the fitted loop.
Offer kumkum, akshat, red flowers and a ghee lamp, and draw a small swastik in kumkum on the wall behind before mounting it.
Chant the Swasti mantra 108 times on a Thursday morning or at the griha pravesh or Diwali muhurat to energise it.
Renew the kumkum tilak and light a lamp before it every Thursday, and repeat the full puja each Diwali.
Do not clean it with chemical polish, salt or acid, do not expose it to strong heat, and keep it out of the bathroom, kitchen and any damp wall.
Parad, solidified mercury processed through the samskaras described in Rasa Shastra texts such as the Rasarnava, is treated as the most sacred metal for household worship in that tradition. A Parad Swastik is therefore preferred at the threshold where copper plates are used for engraved geometric Yantras. It is heavier and denser than a copper plate of the same size, which is why the weight listed here is higher.
