Maha Sudarshan 3x3 Yantra (महा सुदर्शन 3x3 यंत्र) is a sacred 3x3 inch copper Yantra of the Sudarshan Chakra, the flaming discus of Lord Vishnu and the most widely used protective Yantra in the Vaishnava tradition. The 3x3 inch plate carries the full spoked chakra with the central Om and the surrounding bija ring, sized so that every spoke and syllable is legible for daily worship. According to the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra and the Sudarshana Kavacha tradition, worship of this Yantra is held to shield the household from black magic, abhichara and evil eye, break the effect of ill-will and hidden hostility, protect against recurring illness in the family, guard the home from fire, theft and sudden accident, cut through prolonged litigation and false allegation, and clear negative energy from a newly occupied house. It is particularly beneficial for families who suspect nazar or tantric interference, people facing false cases or long litigation, households with repeated unexplained illness, those moving into a new or previously occupied house, businesses hit by a run of sabotage or loss, and anyone in a severe Rahu or Ketu period. Place the Yantra in the east or north-east of the home temple on a clean yellow cloth on a Sunday morning or an Ekadashi. Energise it by offering tulsi leaves, yellow flowers, panchamrit and a ghee lamp, and chanting the mantra 108 times. Mantra: Om Sudarshanaya Vidmahe Maha Jwalaya Dhimahi Tanno Chakrah Prachodayat.
