How to install and use

Wash the Yantra with clean water, then raw milk, then Ganga jal, and dry it with a fresh red or pink cotton cloth.

Spread a clean red or pink cloth on the north side of the home temple, or on the shelf above the cash box, and set the Yantra upright.

Offer lotus petals or kamal gatta, kheer, batasha, kumkum, a silver coin and a ghee lamp on the day of installation.

Chant the Mahalakshmi mantra 108 times on a Friday morning or on Diwali night to complete the energisation.

Light a ghee lamp and repeat 11 rounds every Friday, and perform the full puja again each Diwali and on Akshaya Tritiya.

Keep the plate clean and uncovered, never stack files or cash bundles on top of it, and do not install it in the south or under a staircase.
