Lagan Yog 3x3 Yantra (लगन योग 3x3 यंत्र) is a sacred 3x3 inch copper Yantra used in the Vedic marriage-remedy tradition to strengthen the yoga of vivah where proposals keep breaking or the seventh house is under pressure. The 3x3 inch plate carries the marriage bija grid within the lotus enclosure and is installed under the mantra of Maa Katyayani, the form of Devi invoked by the gopis in the Bhagavata Purana for a suitable husband. According to the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, remedies of this class are prescribed to reduce delay in marriage caused by Mangal or Shani affliction, remove obstruction from the seventh and second houses, quieten repeated breakdown of talks at the final stage, ease horoscope mismatch anxiety, steady a person exhausted by rejection, and support harmony once the alliance is fixed. It is particularly beneficial for unmarried adults past the usual marrying age in their family, those with Mangal Dosha or a Shani-afflicted seventh house, people whose engagements have broken more than once, parents seeking an alliance for a daughter or son, those in a Shani or Ketu Mahadasha, and couples awaiting family approval. Place the Yantra in the north-east of the home temple on a clean yellow cloth on a Thursday morning. Energise it by offering turmeric, chana dal, yellow flowers and a ghee lamp, and chanting the mantra 108 times.
