Durga 3x3 Yantra (दुर्गा 3x3 यंत्र) is a sacred 3x3 inch copper Yantra of Maa Durga, the lion-riding Goddess whose name means the one who is reached only through difficulty and who removes what is difficult to remove. Her Yantra is the household protective plate of Sanatan tradition, engraved on 3x3 inches of pure copper with her triangular shakti mandala enclosed in an eight-petalled lotus and a guarded bhupura. According to the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra and the Devi upasana tradition, worship of the Durga Yantra is believed to grant protection of the home and its members from accident and theft, courage to face intimidation at work, relief from the fear that follows a shock, dissolution of ill-will directed at the family, safe travel for those who are frequently on the road, and steadiness during a malefic dasha. It is particularly beneficial for women living alone or travelling for work, families with school-going children, people facing workplace bullying or threats, those recovering from a major setback, natives running Mangal Mahadasha, and anyone whose Lagna lord is under affliction. Install it in the north-east of the puja room on a clean red cloth on a Tuesday or Friday morning, or during Navratri. Energize it with red hibiscus, sindoor, a ghee lamp and 108 recitations.
