Das Mahavidya 6x6 Yantra

दस महाविद्या 6x6 यंत्र

Das Mahavidya 6x6 Yantra (दस महाविद्या 6x6 यंत्र) brings the ten Mahavidyas of the Shakta tradition onto one plate: Kali, Tara, Tripura Sundari, Bhuvaneshwari, Bhairavi, Chhinnamasta, Dhumavati, Baglamukhi, Matangi and Kamala. Each goddess sits in her own maroon panel with her name and a short invocation, and a Shri Yantra holds the centre. The 6 x 6 inch plate is brass with a 24K gold-plated finish. In Tantra Shastra the ten Mahavidyas are linked to the nine grahas and the lagna, so this Yantra is kept by sadhaks who worship the Devi in all her forms, by families who want one Devi Yantra for the whole household, and by people going through a difficult planetary period. Place it in the north-east or east of the home temple on a red cloth, and install it during Navratri, on an Ashtami or on a Friday. Offer red flowers, kumkum and a ghee lamp, and chant the mantra 108 times. Mantra: Om Hreem Shreem Kleem Dasha Mahavidyayai Namah.
